ATA-B and BAI joint efforts in resulted in the design of the new Defiance Middle and High School, an Ohio Capital Improvements Project. The school’s functional and aesthetic design incorporates both traditional classroom spaces as well as modern flex-labs and alternative teaching platforms. The school’s common atrium serves as overflow for the 3000-seat senior gymnasium and elevated running-track. At over 230,000 square feet, the building is one of the largest geo-thermally heated and cooled buildings in Ohio.
